App Terms of Use

These terms apply to the following mobile applications developed by Romeu Beato:

• Scale Master Guitar
• Ear N Play
• Guitar Progression Generator
• Polyrhythmic Metronome

These apps were previously distributed under the RiffRoutine brand. The developer and terms remain the same. By using any of these apps, you agree to these terms.

Services

The apps provide music education and practice tools including a metronome, ear training exercises, scale visualisation, and chord progression generation. They are designed to work offline on your device.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Auto-renewable subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the same price.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your device account settings (Apple ID or Google Play account).
• Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Lifetime (non-recurring) purchases are available for some apps.
• All refunds are processed through Apple or Google directly — not through us.

Pro access via coaching programs

Students enrolled in future coaching programs may receive Pro access to all four apps as part of their program. This access is granted via a separate mechanism and is not tied to App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any app
• Use the apps for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent subscription or access restrictions
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell any app or its content

Intellectual property

All content in the apps — including code, design, audio samples, and visual assets — is owned by Romeu Beato and protected by copyright law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Disclaimer

The apps are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While I do my best to keep them working well, I cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device and OS version.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Romeu Beato is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the apps. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the preceding 12 months.

Termination

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any app at any time, with or without cause, particularly in cases of terms violation.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the apps after changes constitutes acceptance.
