Chroma — Privacy Policy

Chroma is an app for training absolute pitch, made by Romeu Beato (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what the app does with your data. Short version: your training stays on your phone, and I don’t track you.

What stays on your device

• Your training history, levels, scores and settings are stored only on your phone.
• Microphone: the Sing-it mode listens to your voice to check the pitch you sing. The audio is analysed on the device and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
• Practice reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone.

What leaves your device

• Purchases: the one-time purchase is handled by the App Store or Google Play. I use RevenueCat to check whether you have unlocked the full app. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app ID and your purchase history, never your name, email or card details.
• Crash reports: if the app crashes, a technical report (device model, system version, error details) may be sent to Sentry so I can fix the bug. It contains no audio, name or email.

What I don’t do

• No accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites.
• I don’t sell or share your data.

Children

Chroma is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights and contact

Because your training data never leaves your phone, deleting the app deletes it. For anything else, including questions about this policy, write to hello@romeubeato.com.
